I just removed my complete minecraft (uninstall launcher, deleted .minecraft-folder) and it is still the same. Now Launcher pops up with "login with microsoft / login with mojang accound" but after a few seconds it just go avay.
Windows-Task-Manager tells me, minecraft launcher is "not responding".
my two sons that both bought minecraft could not play on 2 different computers since beginning of March 2021.
When analyzing launcher_log.txt this is what comes into my clue:
XAL: [06186DB0] Failed to read Dtoken with error 0x89235107: Client operation failed
This shows up by both sons of my. Both can not play. Both have their own Windows-Account.
We tried to use the account of my wife and generated a minecraft-trial-acount and there it worked and there this line was not shown in the launcher_log.
Maybe the minecraft-accounts of my sons are damaged?
Where can I ask for support if this forum isn't the right place?
The launcher works perfect when cutting of the internet connection (except I can not login because no internet connection). As soon as I plug the internet connection on, the launcher crashes immediatly.
The problem was, that we had 2 routers in the network:
Our private LAN was connected to one TP Link router, this one was connected to a Fritz-Box from the Austrian Internet-Provider A1.
Surfing and all possible games we tried worked. Also Minecraft Bedrock Edition (even in Multiplayer mode).
As soon as we removed the TP Link Router and connected our private LAN directly to the FritzBox, even the Minecraft Launcher worked without any problem.

yes, I'm running with mods and they worked good so far.
But: Currently I can not start launcher, launcher itelf crashes. I could not click on Settings in launcher.
It crashes during startup even before it displays any menu. It just "disappears".

I tried https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-16049 but it does not work.
Even removing the whole .minecraft-folder is not a solution.
