[Update: invalid due to misunderstanding of prior update announcement, waiting for mods to close issue]
According to https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/minecraft-snapshot-23w07a], suspicious sand is supposed to generate around desert temples and desert wells.
However, once finding a desert pyramid using the /locate structure command, no suspicious sand is in the area. This happens in a 23w07a world with all experimental data packs enabled.
I have a video showing that, but it is almost 2 minutes long and cannot be uploaded for exceeding the file limit set by the administrator. If the video is needed to reproduce the issue, please inform me of a different way of providing it.
Suspicious sand and the other new 23w07a features are shown in the creative inventory and can be used there.

@PvPPanda ah okay, thanks for your help, I managed to find the room in my test world now. I didn't presume there would be a separate room, because they were generally outside/next to the structure in the Archaeology announcement (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/archeology-coming-minecraft-120) 🙈
@Jiingy I have seen that remark, but IMHO that alone does not justify that wind charges cause damage to breezes. As an example: arrows, too, deal damage if they hit an entity, and yet the breeze deflects them as projectiles. I'd presume the projectiles immunity to be the more specific rule here that should take precedence. But of course, this report could very well be WAI too.
