This still seems to be happening in 1.14.2. Maybe it has something to do with path blocks since they are not a full block.
Is this on a server? I have had something like this happen when my client thought I placed water but the server disagreed.
Bother spawners are completely dark. Both have also stopped spawning mobs at least once and both required the server to be restarted.
Can't upload the world since it's over 200 MB but i've posted a few screenshots, the area near the door is light level 7. The world was a server when the problem occurred, not sure if it could be a server side issue.
