Changed Description:
Item frames take nearly 5 seconds to pop of after destroying the block behind it
Re-create:
1) place an item frame on a block
2) break the block behind it
3) witness the item frame not pop off

are you using bukkit and plugins? that is probably the cause
Minecraft is currently not compatible on a potato
