I experienced the same issue on the Nintendo Switch version on apocalypse difficulty. I reached the final boss and the gate was open and the arch-illager was sitting on top of the staircase with an interact icon, but nothing happened when used
I have a similar issue on the Nintendo Switch version of the game where after I obtained a rune and went to the bridge, I used boots of swiftness to get there faster, but as I try to cross the bridge I just fall through. It only happens sometimes after I beat a level. If I go beat another lever and come back the bridge works fine again. It’s an off-and on issue.
