Put the summary of the bug you're having here
*What I expected to happen was all the writing would be in English.
*What actually happened was there were lots of seemingly random symbols instead. I changed language to check I was on English (UK) and I was. None of the English variations were correct either. It was also not because of my resource pack.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set the language to any English variation or a language with the same alphabet as English
Mobs are not spawning in my mob tower. I was AFK for 2 hours and only a zombie and a creeper spawned.

I was wondering if this was the bug with the way airblocks are treated differently tha docm77 mentioned in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz7Iu7L1ZiQ&feature=c4-overview&list=UU4O9HKe9Jt5yAhKuNv3LXpQ but I thought that was only in the snapshots.Edit: Spawn rates have gone back up now I may have accidently been using the snapshot.
Still not working. I have worked out that the characters are not fully forming which seems to be the problem.
I dont know how to reopen this or if i can but this issue has not been resolved
Ok is there any way to be able to read what is said because i nee to know the amount of items i have to see when i need to get more
Its fine been fixed in 1.6.2
I have had this bug. Completely ruined my automatic chicken farm. After they fall into the hopper, they fall through into the redstone area underneath and they can't lay eggs in the hopper then.
