MCPE-61613I am not able to unlock achievements...and I don't think I'm doing this wrong. For example, the "Have a Shearful Day" achievement says that I need to use Shears to obtain wool from a sheep. So I build Shears, and use them on the sheep, and get wool...but no achievement and Xbox Live still shows it as "locked". This is on a survival world, that has never had cheats enabled, and has never been used in creative mode. I have also tested this on brand new survival worlds, with the same outcome.
I have already gone through the official Xbox troubleshooting (https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/achievements/troubleshoot-achievements-challenges), reached out to their support (they had me remove my account from the Xbox, restart, and add it again - which didn't do anything). They said everything is functional. I am also in online mode.
This appears to be a bug in Bedrock. I'm an advanced player and the fact I'm now noticing that achievements like "Librarian" (build some bookshelves to improve your enchantment table) are not unlocked when I've built hundreds of bookshelves for my enchantment tables over time, in survival mode, is crazy.

This is happening on iOS (iPadOS) as well.

Or others like “Time to Farm” do not unlock when I build a hoe and put it in my inventory.
Turns out this was caused by the black-hole DNS I have setup (Pi Hole). All functions on Xbox Live were working fine, but apparently Xbox achievements use a special URL that is included in one of the blocklists in Pi Hole. After removing the URLs related to Xbox Live, all achievements started working! This bug can be closed!
