I know why your not seeing damage in 3rd person... Cause your in creative. Plus there is no fire in mcpe yet. So case solved... kinda
Mostly because there is no fire in mcpe yet.\
So I did a test and I have seen that there is infact damage when your in lava. 3rd person.. but it be a bug for iOS and I have a android/samsung so yeah.
So I have been successful in finding the bug, but I haven't been able to take a screen shot
Well this is a interesting bug, I shall keep an eye on this
