Downloaded the 1.19 update on my Nintendo Switch. Created a new world on my realm. After a few minutes of the "Joining Realm..." screen, I get an error and a message saying "Unable to connect to realm. Failed attempting to join realm. Please try again later." Tried a different world, same issue. Tried creating the world outside the realm, then uploading - same issue. Tried turning off the console and restarting the game - same issue. I have no problems opening newly created worlds outside the realm.
Steps to reproduce: (from Kaioga)
- Join to a Realm in a device in the latest version that is not a Switch to update the Realm to 1.19.0
- Join the Same Realm in a Nintendo Switch
Observed Results:
The Switch player will be in a long period of waiting, after some minutes it will say "An error ocurred trying to join the Realm.”
Expected Results:
Switch players should be able to join the Realm.
Additional Information
Reporter in MCPE-156750 states that if another player is already in the realm they are able to join using Nintendo Switch.
Hi, I still having the switch freeze issue, I found I have this issue when I; close the game, use the chat, use a signal, name something in an anvil, basically when I use the console keyboard in the game, hope this can help to fix it.
Chris, I have the same issue than you, I have my realm and I can’t play it by the freeze... I hope they give a refund.

Hello, this issue is not the same at MCPE-12347, is similar but is not. I disconnect and everyone in the realm disconnect too, but just when we are a certain of players, because if there are two, we can play correctly, the sequence of this is unusual or hardest to see because sometimes this occur when we have four players, but sometimes don’t, and the issue occur later when we are 6... By the way this is only on the realm, and is on any world I upload into the realm, don’t care if is new or not. When the rollback come, the auto save don’t work too. Anything more can help for fix this issue?
Hi, I put a screenshot of last saves. It says 2 days ago. Right now no many people play here by this issue, so I think 2 or 3 only, but at the start, 13 or 15. This is what exactly wrong before the issue: "We are playing normally, mining, killing mobs, destroying blocks, then, when you destroy a block, it don’t drop the item, mobs don’t move, and things like that, like a game freeze, but you can move, the auto saves don’t give the missed things, is like you start on the latest auto save. Everyone have same issue.
This issue is on switch too, latest update 1.16.40...

For help the people who are working on a fix for this issue, I don’t know for other people, but for me, on my 2 realms, this issue only occur when we hit 4 players or more.
This is a big problem, this affect marketplace creators, server hosters, and realms hosters, I have this issue in my server and I have tested if is only with a specific score but no, is with any score you try display in the list.
This issue mostly happens when people joins, isn’t not really happening by villagers, because I literally created a world without any entity except me, and I was normal for few minutes, when my friends joined to my realm, after few minutes the realm crashed... So I think isn’t caused by villagers or traveling between dimensions... Also, I suggest to make the auto save more speed, so the data loses isn’t that much, maybe add a setting for Can change the time of an auto safe? Hope my message helps!
My Realm suddenly stopped working. This problem started on September 29, 2021. None of the members, not even me, the owner, could join the realm. I tried replacing the world with a backup, but it just wouldn't let me. After several attempts replacing the world with a backup, he allowed me, I tried to join the realm, and he also allowed me, but there was too much lag. After a few hours playing with some of the members, all the members were disconnected from the realm, and again, we were not allowed to join. After a few days I repeated the process, and the realm worked perfectly, if I remember correctly it was on the release day of update 1.17.32. It wasn't until two days later that he didn't allow us to enter the realm again. I tried to download the world and it didn't let me either, after several attempts I was successful, but it didn't let me enter the world either. Since the world had commands and a resource pack, I thought that had to do with it, so I reset the world of the realm (this put a whole new world in survival mode in the realm, and allowed us all to join together), but again , within a few hours the error was repeated, and when downloading it it did not let me enter the world either. I noticed that all the worlds I put in the realm increase their file size every so often, and apparently this is causing this problem, but I'm not sure. I followed the troubleshooting steps, without any success. Data to take into account: The realm had been working correctly for months, despite having commands and a resource pack, there was no lag and it allowed us all to join. The lag is: Delay in destroying blocks, delay when attacking mobs, delay when seeing messages in chat, delay when enchanting, etc. Chat was not working properly when I was able to replace the world with a backup. There were between 4 to 6 members in the realm after posting the security copy
I can confirm that this problem happens in worlds that didn't even go through version 1.17.30. It should be noted that in worlds with versions lower than 1.17.30 this problem happens, but it takes less time to become known. This error seems to be occurring due to an error with bedrock dedicated servers, because it looks a lot like an error that occurred a few months ago(

REALMS-9078When we was making an example pack to reproduce the error, it got fixed by itself by some unknown reason. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Alright so, I am not receiving any error when uploading it, it is uploading without any issues, the problem is that in the realm, the pack does not work, even when it has gametest toggle on, and even when it works on single player.

This issue also happens when updating a pack, and sometimes even when removing it, here some of the information I have obtained.
Steps to replicate:
1. Upload an addon (RP/BP) to your realm
2. Change the version of the addon to a higher version
3. Enter your realm settings, and verify that the addon has been successfully changed of version
Expected results:
The addon will be uploaded with no issues and after changing the version, it will be changed in the realm after step 3 and everything changed, added, or removed will be applied in the realm.
Obtained results:
Enters you into an infinite loop of “Uploaded pack successfully”, where the only way to get out of it is closing the game in the realm settings, which reverses the changes that were attempted to be made.
I have found a workaround for this, I hope it helps the users affected by this issue;
1. Install the world where you want to upload the addon
2. Upload the Addons offline in that world
3. Go to the world settings
4. Click “Play in Realm”
This will upload the world with the packs on the realm. Although, at first instance you may think it doesn’t work, since the game will keep loading and loading, you can close and re-open the game if this happens in the joining realm screen, and the changes will be made.
I tried it yesterday and it worked for me. Altought I tried it with a normal RP and BP, without gametest, I believe that with gametest the things are going to be different.
If you are just trying to update a pack and not upload a pack, you can create a new world with the updated packs in the realm, using the following method:
1. Go to create new world settings
2. Upload the Addons
3. Click on “create in realms
This will create the world with the Addons in the realm, so then you can go to the realm slot where you want to update the pack and click on check the settings of it, that will automatically update it with no issues.
These are the only methods I have found.
The block does not work as intended with big scales considering that it does not render properly. I am worried that it could cause performance issues on devices like the Nintendo Switch or low-end mobile devices. It would be a good mechanic to have as long as it does not affect the performance in a bad way. Dropping the block as an item makes it render scaled as well, and this definitely is causing performance issues. If I was about to keep this bug as a mechanic, I would prefer that we also got bigger selection and collision boxes... feels redundant to have a scalable block if the collision and selection boxes remain the same of a normal block.
The interesting issues mentioned are;
1. Texture being missing.
2. Actual location of block being totally invisible making the player able to see the void below it
3. Block seems to render as in blend mode even though is set to opaque.
Also, as mentioned in the documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/minecraft/creator/reference/content/blockreference/examples/blockcomponents/minecraftblock_transformation and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/minecraft/creator/documents/customblockoversized, this component should have a scale and translation limit.
