When i type /gamerule doFireTick false it says gamerule has been updated. the fire still spreads but more slowly. But still destroys blocks and light other blocks on fire.
all other commands work properly but i never get a false input or something like that.
let me explain.I can type like /gamerule <insert gamerule here> <whatever i type> and it says gamerule has been updated.
when i want to check the state of the gamerule by /gamerule <insert gamerule> it says the word i typed there.and doesnt say the gamerule is not updated becouse i had a false input.
could you help me?

yup
same problem here
i found a fix that will get rid of the thunder. but it will also get rid of rain. open the map in mcedit and cover the highest place possible with block 36(piston movement block). this block is invisible, lets light go trough normally and you can walk in it. but do not block update it or else all the blocks 36 will dissapear.
