I'm new to PCMC but managed to get a few hours of gaming and some mods with no problems. Then I decided to see how a shaders mod would work. I used GLSL. It crashed the game and now everytime I load MC it gets stuck on the brown loading screen. The error log report identifies the crash as Code 1 and sometimes
0%.I reinstalled MC 1.11.2 again and that did not fix the problem.
I deleted all MC files and folders. That did not work.
I deleted the latest version of JAVA and reinstalled. That did not work.
I deleted again all MC related stuff including Forge. I reinstalled only MC without Forge. That did not work.I do not think that my NVidia card is creating this issue as the game worked before I installed the shaders mod. I have not yet reverted back to the IntelGraphics as yet.
I have no allocated any memory or anything like that. I have not deleted items from the computer's Registry.

I did not know how to search using 'Date created', so:
I've used this gamerule command to, for example, prevent grass from dropping seeds:
/gamerule DoTileDrops false
It does not work. Breaking tall grass still gives seeds. In another saved game, this command seems to work but not in a recent new game I created this morning.
So I tried the following command to be sure I wasn't making the wrong/right one:
/gamerule DoEntityDrops false
No effects.
I run a Minecraft server with NitrousNetworks and have disabled all plugins and shader packs (including Optifine) and updated to 1.12.2 in Spigot. When placing down half slabs, the item renders as a full block each time. This issue also affected 1.12.1.
In a single player game (not on a server) in 1.12.2 with no shaders or mods installed, this issue also persists.
This issue started as soon as I began playing about 3 hours ago. This issue was not seen yesterday when I was playing about with half slabs so it is a very recent issue for me.
Just found out that placing a single slab onto grass will create two single slabs side by side.

In this screenshot provided below, placing down a half slab either places two slabs together or a full block. It seems to be random.

I have switched to the onboard CPU graphics (intel HD 350) and the issue still persists, this time the loading screen is 0% and error code: Process closed with exit code -805306369
I am now getting a new error in GameBarPresenceWriter.exe when attempting to load a new game or a previous saved game. This occured during when the brown screen loaded at 0% and then a small MC tooltip appeared in the top, right of window. The game was stuck at this point.
I am still trying to get this fixed but no-one has any idea. I asked the helpers in the IRC chat and they banned me!! So please can you fix this?
Okay, after nearly 12 hours of searching and getting no sleep, I managed to find a fix for this. The issue seems to have been the JVM arguments. For those also struggling with this, please try this fix: in the MC lancher, click advanced settings, and got to JVM, open Notepad, copy and paste the JVM text into Notepad. Delete the text in the JVM box now. Then in the JVM box type the following: -Xms2048m -Xmx2048m -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -XX:+CMSPermGenSweepingEnabled -XX:PermSize=128m
Click off the green JVM buttom and come out and then load your game. It should work. Save the Notepad file just in case you need to revert back.
This issue has been resolved with a restart of my computer. As simple as that!
