Editing an Area Effect Cloud to have a duration of 2,147,483,647 causes the cloud to never appear and never apply any effects. It doesn't always vanish, it just doesn't do anything at all.
The Duration tag is an Int tag, so i would expect that value to work, but it does not.
After some testing, values up to 2,000,000,000 work, but fail somewhere in between 2 billion and int max.
This is definitely a bug. the CustomNameVisible tag forces the name to always show, regardless if you're looking at it. This has been a thing in Minecraft for years. Every hologram on every server has this.
It's not invalid. The last guy got it wrong. This is obvious. Every hologram relies on this. This update just broke all of them.
On Xbox, then transfer to bedrock. You can get always visible name tags in vanilla if u recolor them using the squiggly s character on the keyboard. Or using save data editors. Boom, vanilla CustomNameVisible. Or it's with wolves or something I can't remember.
NBT Editor. Just put it back to the way it was k?
Seriously? You can't just read what I said and make sense of it? By the way, this also affects Java and Console edition as well.
You know what? Im trying to help... If you can read, you can understand the bug.
Bump. This is currently affecting the live stable release of 1.13. My world is unplayable as this happened every 5 min or so. The world is 2.5GB in size and I have over 1TB left on the drive it's stored on
They used to, and now they don't. That's the bug.
