I know that there are at least
toreports for this same bug but the bug is still there. As shown in the pictures below a cake with no uses has the outside texture, one with 1 bite taken out has the inside texture, but one with 2 or more bites taken out has the outside edge texture again.

I have noticed for a while that when chickens are falling their wings do not have a smooth animation like they did in console editions of the game. I have also noticed that activated conduits' shell no longer has a smooth animation and the position of the shell updates about once every 2 seconds. My computer has a decent graphics card so it's not just my computer.

I was trying to play a music disc throughout the entire world using "/playsound record.13 @a ~~~ 1 1 1" and no matter the numbers I put in for the volume and minimum volume parameters, the sound always got quieter at the same distance. Correction: the volume parameter works with numbers less or equal to 1
A repeating command block in the nether can execute commands affecting players in the overworld even when there are no players in the nether.
I've only confirmed this with the /title and the /fog commands.
This bug existed in the previous version but could be fixed by using a distance selector such as "@a[r=60000000]"

Yes it is 1.4.3
I have the same problem, whenever lightning strikes, no matter how far away the bolt is, it plays an explosion sound as if it struck near the player. So what he meant is that it sounds like the lightning is right next to the player when it is not.
It's still a problem.
>Steps to reproduce
1: be in creative mode
2: fill all inventory slots
3: drop items on ground while keeping a full inventory
4: pick up items
>Observed results: The dropped items are picked up and are not in inventory
>Expected results: The items should stay on the ground
>Other notes: This doesn't happen in survival or adventure
I just tested this and a for me it only points the wrong direction if it's in your mainhand while in a menu as well as sometimes when it is picked up in a menu.
Turning vsync off does nothing for me, but adjusting the max framerate does. When I set it to 70 I get 50-60 fps with no input lag. If it is set higher than 70 or set to 0 then there is input lag at 60 fps. If it is set to 60 then I get no input lag at 30 fps.
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti
GeForce game ready driver 461.40
Monitor runs at 60hz
I have found that turning v-sync off AND running the game in windowed mode solves the problem completely with no change to the max framerate setting.
This doesn't work for everyone though.
For Windows 10, running the game in windowed mode solves the problem for me.
It is happening on dedicated server, running on Windows 10
