Executing /give @p iron_sword 64 in 1.11 gives me 64 iron swords. However in 1.12, it spits out

I am connecting to Hypixel, Mineplex, CubeCraft, Hive + some cracked servers and they all work. Check your internet?
The movement issue is due to been in an unloaded chunk, and can occur in vanilla/integrated servers. The unloaded chunks are caused by LAN/ISP lag.
You'll need to upload the world for anyone do anything useful.
