UPDATE:
The house is actually the one directly after the bridge (see attached screenshot - the skeleton was stood where the arrow points to). This time I didn't make it through the house all together but became stuck at the front.
Possible Duplicate or similar to https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCD-38. I wasn't sure how else to signal this so I'm just leaving it as a comment.
