Hmm. I tried this a while ago, so it might have been fixed. I will have to try it again.
I believe this issue is on purpose to make Raids slightly easier, but you must still defeat the Raid within 20 minutes. It could be meant to make Raiders more humane.
I tried this yesterday and it has not changed. I don't know what your definition of normal is, but I don't think this is what the developers intended. Are you sure you tried it in 1.17.1?
I cannot figure out how to reopen this issue. Could someone tell me how or do it themselves please?
Sorry. I don't know how. I would if I could.
It's supposed to sound like a piece of paper bending loudly.
FYI, this may be because the sculk shrieker has a function (summoning the Warden).
I can confirm this strange behavior.
A simple solution is to bookmark the Dungeons window when the game starts. If you do not open the game from the launcher and instead open it from the bookmarks bar, the game will open normally. Left-click on the dungeon's logo in the bookmarks bar and select the "Pin to Taskbar". This way, you don't need the launcher at all.
Thank you for clarifying.
This is still an issue for bamboo saplings. I have not noticed it anywhere else.
When I try to open the launcher, it doesn't even go to the loading screen. It just doesn't do anything.
There's a similar problem with the Bedrock page. It shows "Java and Bedrock" under the logo and then the logo widens slightly and "Java and Bedrock" disappears.
