When going to oceans, magma from underwater caves and dripstone clusters generate. Also, no sand or gravel will spawn in oceans below a certain y level. Glow lichen also generates.

Pretty sure this occurs since cave aspects spawn in the ocean as if its a cave/aquafer, as glow lichen also spawns underwater, and also stone generates instead of sand/gravel around 51. The issues of dripstone, pointed dripstone, glow lichen, and the magma that spawns in aquafers, are all most likely related.
