MCPE-108672Joe Ayre, Megan Roskoskosch - To try to get more clarification here (so we know what this bug is about - I feel like there are too many unclarities here):
- Launcher (the added "component" in the bug) is for Java Minecraft, and this bug states there are issues with the Launcher itself while trying to log in with a Microsoft Account.
- PlayStation does not have a Minecraft Launcher.
- The version of Minecraft on Playstation is a completely different version than Minecraft that you start via the Launcher.
Given all above, what is the exact issue?
You have bought the game on PlayStation, but can no longer log in, and are getting this error?
You have also bought the game on other platforms, and can log in there?
If this is a PlayStation-only issue I suggest opening a separate bug for that.
If not, please add more clarification.
I am having the same issue,
1. no my Minecraft is not linked with my Microsoft account as that is the issue at hand, it says we are already used that account with another PlayStation network (not possible as stated it is a new account)
2. I own the bedrock version on my PC also but this version is the minecraft for ps4
3. as these games were purchased on the PlayStation it would not be purchased using the Microsoft account
4. I am able to log on with all my other devices, its just an issue when trying to connect with the PS5 and PS4
I have noticed many others having similar issues and some dated to years ago, I will update with a photo of the issue tomorrow,
hopefully this information helps get to the bottom of this
