Phil Rogers have you tried using a different device like what Device do you use for the game
I mean apparently you said it works with a different device plus they updated Minecraft a lot since then have you even tried lately
I exit and click save and quit and it says Unfortunately Minecraft Pocket Edition has stopped working and then my game doesn't save where I left off that can be frustrating when building. Beta version 1.1.0.8

I have the same problem on Huawei pronto LTE
Also the same problem on my Huawei pronto LTE phone
Same thing happens to me
My inventory disappeared after closing the dots that lead to the items in creativity mode
@Randy Stone I have the exact same problem on my device
Hows this a resolve this isn't a resolve this still needs to be solved
