Whenever you first launch the update and click play, it will ask for you to subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online Service which hasn't been released and when you click on eshop, it just brings you to the eshop menu. With this, it disables any online functions and now online is completely useless. Also I was not able to bring back the menu asking for me to subscribe to Online Service so I don't have a screenshot.
Below is some screenshots that I sent to Helen on discord:

Talked to Helen, update has been submitted and will hopefully come out to fix early next week.
This also happens in Multiplayer. For a workaround I have decided to downgrade to 20w12a.
