@Mark Derickson, I can confirm that MC-188522 is the same as MC-215890 but 21w07a is not listed in MC-188522 so I commented in MC-188522 to say that 21w07a also has the MC-188522 bug.
This bug also occurs in 21w07a
MC-215890 is most likely the same bug as MC-188522.
The BSOD error code is always SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.
The kernel memory dump is over 1GB, not an issue with the launcher.
