When a player doesn't stand under anything, the sky and horizon are a certain color. As soon as the player goes under a block, the horizon turns slightly gray. This used to be a bug that's been fixed in Java Edition but has since been fixed and the horizon does not change color at all in it.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Head under any block and look as the horizon changes color. This should be fixed to improve parity between versions and make the game more aesthetically pleasing.
- What I expected to happen:
When standing under a block, the horizon line stays the same color as it is when standing under nothing.- What actually happens:

When leaves are looked at from a distance, they turn opaque. This is especially obvious with various resourcepacks but is also an issue with the default one. (The attachment demonstrates how the issue affects 'Tales of Jobutara Kingdoms')There should either be an option to disable this behaviour if it's intended or all leaves within viewing distance should render as transparent with the 'fancy leaves' option enabled.
There are several issues affecting the resource pack 'Tales of Jobutara Kingdoms' available on the Marketplace:
- Grass doesn't render correctly - white bars instead of actual grass colours appear on the sides.
- Water abruptly changes to opaque
- So do the leaves and foliage
These problems hugely detract from the visual experience, which is why they need a fix.

Still occurs in 1.16.220.50 Beta
The issue has been fixed
As far as I can tell, almost all opaque blocks and some transparent ones.
Example blocks that change the horizon colour are: Leaves, Logs, Snow (not Top Snow; only Snow), Cobblestone, Dirt, etc.
Blocks which do not change the colour: Top Snow, Glass, Chests etc.
