Sound made byanimals in water causes massive FPS dropSound made by mobs in water causes massive FPS drop
Summary:
When two or more animals collide (or are touching) in water, and the player moves more than 16 blocks away from them, there is a massive FPS drop. However, when the sound is off this issue does not occur. How to Reproduce:
Make sure sound is set above 0%! Dig a 1x1 hole 2 deep. Place water in the bottom. Spawn two or more chickens (more will make it worse) in the hole. Walk 16-18 blocks away, while observing FPS and sound CPU usage on the debug chart.Attached is a video of reproducing the bug.
How to reproduce:
Build a Double Chest.
Try and place a chest on an adjacent block on the same level. What I expected:
Chest is placed.What happened:
Chest was not placed.I know it has been like this forever, but they made chests more distinguishable since before, so I figure placing them side by side shouldn't be a problem.

I've updated the title, as the problem is caused by all mobs, not just animals.
Strange, seems more like a bug to me, since you can open stacked chests (like Daniele said), as well as chests with transparent blocks above them.
If that can be considered as a bug,
MC-378, then I'd say this is a bug.If the chest stacking were to be fixed, then I'd like this to be fixed. It makes bulk storage... bulky.
I certainly love that you can open chests with glass, glowstone, slabs, stairs, and other solid blocks yet transparent blocks, but I think the lid opening into other blocks makes it a bug. Sad, but that's the way it is.
Well, this was solved quite well by trapped chests! I'm very happy with that fix. Now you can even have single chests side by side.
I can't seem to replicate this anymore... Tried chickens in a water pit, flying above rain, and a couple other things which induced the problem previously. Seems like this is fixed! I'm surprised, though... I still get some random fps drops in the nether...
