I have just bought this game for £17.95 for my son, followed all the prompts and when he goes to play it, it just says it has crashed.
If this cannot be fixed I would like my money back!!!!

Please attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt), otherwise we can not diagnose this issue.
If you're using a NVIDIA graphics card, you might want to take a look at
MC-112780.
