MC-126282Bug with water.
If you put a dry sponge in deep water. It absorbs some of the water around it and creates a void that is not filled with water, as the water around the sponge ceases to flow. See the attached screenshot.

Weird, it looks like the old sponge function!
A bizzare glitch, but it gives some nostalgia.
