The reason why this needs to be fixed: If the hitbox of the witch is also fixed, then the witch can't spawn there anymore.
Well, I doubt they'd care to make the player able to damage her via her hat. But even so, it is strange she would live in a house she can't wear her hat in when that is all she does.
Unless they add some strange mechanic where in 2-high or less spaces, she removes her hat.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
Why won't fix? When fixing
MC-12061the witch can't spawn there anymore, I think.
