MC-142001Can't Merge two damaged tools on Crafting Table
I tried to merge two damaged tool by using Crafting Table but I found that nothing came out.
Is it a bug? This function is useful and I hope it can be fixed

This is intended behaviour - that functionality has been transferred to the grindstone.
having this functionallity in grindstone is not usefull.
You still need a way to repair tools when you are in a deep cave and dont carry any special blocks like grindstone
