Sometimes whenever I'm entering the Nether through the portal or/and leaving the Nether, the game freezes on the "Loading terrain.." screen and the only way to shut the game down Is to do so through the task manager of my operating system.

Sometimes whenever I'm entering the Nether through the portal or/and leaving the Nether, the game freezes on the "Loading terrain.." screen and the only way to shut the game down Is to do so through the task manager of my operating system.

Sorry but I've easily entered and exited the Nether. I do have a powerful computer, however, so maybe you need to lower chunks or upgrade.
I just wanted to make sure that its not a general issue, and yeah I have a really weak PC so I guess thats the issue..
this is not a bug, but its performance is heavy. try opening arguments and change it to -XX: MaxPermSize = 1024m, then try opening it again, if you can't, try changing the one before and changing the number to 2048m. if it can't, it needs to update java, or complain (if the method above doesn't work)

This error also happens to me and I think it's because I have a PC with low requirements
CPU: Intel pentium G3240
RAM: 4GB
GPU: Intel Graphics HD
