MC-183993Water does not flow properly/create new water source block once removed
I found in the latest snapshot that if you remove a water source block from a body of water (Tested in river and ocean biome) the water does not properly flow back and create a new water source block. This leaves a depression in the body of water

Does this happen consistently or does it only happen sometimes?
This had happened every time I grabbed a water source block with a bucket, however now when I have tried it multiple times, water is flowing back and creating a source block as normal.
In that case, this is probably
MC-12363.
