Hey there!
I was able to test this today and I wasn't able to reproduce the bug.
This might be related to
MC-203880. There seem to be a lot of reports about entities/particles not disappearing when they're supposed to in 20w45a.Is this still an issue in 20w46a?
MC-203880was fixed in 20w46a, so this was probably fixed too.
