MC-262835Ocelots and cats that are sneaking produce footstep sounds
The Bug:
Ocelots and cats that are sneaking produce footstep sounds.
When a player sneaks, their footstep sounds are muted, but when an ocelot or a cat sneaks, they produce footstep sounds, therefore introducing an inconsistency.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Summon a chicken by using the command provided below.
/summon minecraft:chicken ~ ~ ~ {NoAI:1b} - Summon an ocelot a fair distance away from the chicken.
- Wait for the ocelot to notice and start sneaking toward the chicken, and listen closely as this happens.
- Take note as to whether or not ocelots and cats that are sneaking produce footstep sounds.
Observed Behavior:
Ocelots and cats that are sneaking produce footstep sounds.
Expected Behavior:
Ocelots and cats that are sneaking would not produce footstep sounds.
