The hitbox for dead entities do not align with their physical body
When you middle-click on a deceased entity, you receive a spawn egg. The hitbox for grabbing the entity is as if it were still alive. However, utilizing the pickblock function on the deceased entity's body is only possible by aiming at its hitbox, not its body.

The hitbox for dead entities do not align with their physical body
When you middle-click on a deceased entity, you receive a spawn egg. The hitbox for grabbing the entity is as if it were still alive. However, utilizing the pickblock function on the deceased entity's body is only possible by aiming at its feet, aligning with the hitbox location as if it was to be in its living state.
