Everytime I try to login to a server,it freezes on "logging in" for a rough 10 seconds.
and then,it says "Failed to login:Login timed out,try again."

How good is your internet connection? Are you in the process of downloading anything? Do you have any torrent clients open?
no im connecting with about 240 ms
also it's just minecraft itself with optifine installed
Gotta ask: does this occur without any mods installed?
and then for some reason the server list is bugged.takes 20 secs to show a server connection and takes 20 secs to connect but I can connect now.
