MacBook Pro Graphics Update 2.0 Major Issues
After the MacBook Pro Graphics Update 2.0 update for MacBook Pro's made after 2012 I get the following issues (but not immediately after updating):
If Advanced OpenGL is ON, going from F11 full screen to window, or visa versa during gameplay, and after world has loaded completely (seems to be intermittent if just beginning to play) will cause the whole machine to stop responding. If you wait long enough, you may get brief functionality(2 seconds) but only solution seems to be a force restart.
Frame rate issues with huge lag spikes (With V-Sync off I was previously getting between 60 - 200 FPS, now between 15-60)
Minecart jitter with audio issues
Environment
15" Retina MacBook Pro Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 1GB VRAM, Mountain Lion 10.8-10.8.3(beta 3) Java version 1.6.0_37 MacBook Pro Graphics Update 2.0

Occasionally when switching from full screen to windowed, and once just playing the game windowed, Minecraft will lock the entire MacBook Pro.
The machine will be briefly responsive for around 2 seconds every few minutes, other than that it's frozen. The system log has repeated entries for:
kernel[0]: NVDA(OpenGL): Channel timeout!
Usually a forced power off is the only solution.
This has only started happening in the last month or two. This machine is used heavily, Minecraft is the only app causing this.
This is a technical support issue; this site is for bug reports only. For technical support please use the Mojang Support Center.
I'm not sure how this is a technical support issue. Minecraft causes an entire system crash when using Advanced OpenGL, other software does not.
Having exactly the same hang on an older MacBook Pro. Mojang also refused to accept my report as a bug.
