I logged on to a server and I played for about twenty seconds than mine craft lags then a dirt screen appears and it says connection lost Internal exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Could be a problem with your internet or the server, does not happen to me.
Maybe you had a mod installed. prevented me for the longest time
Please press F3 + C while ingame for 10 seconds and attach the resulting crash report here.
