MC-72505ok so i put a mine cart with hopper on a powered rail just like in a tutorial i saw (1.8) and the powered rails won't accelerate also the mine cart with hopper won't start on a powered rail unless i push it (and the powered rails are turned on)

Is there a powered rail on the hopper below the minecart ?
Invalid. PEBCAK. Those are activator rails, not powered rails.
