MC-8420Frozen Chicken Wings

This isn't a horrid bug that destroys the game, I just didn't think it was supposed to happen. I trust you guys didn't add a feature that froze the chickens wings in place when their in water, did you? (If you threw together a way to make their wings freeze when their in water though, that'd be cool 
)
Steps to Reproduce:
I just had chickens flowing in water shown in the picture below, the wings froze in place, but besides that, their normal. EDIT; (They were there for a long amount of time and I was having lag spikes, don't know if that had anything to do with it though...) END EDIT

Windows 7, don't know my Java version though.

Are you using a modded client for the HD textures?

Cannot reproduce, see screenshots.
Notice the flowing water, the chickens were also there for a long time. And there are a lot of chickens there to add on to that...
No, I just had faithful on my 1.4.6 client, then i used magic launcher to go to 13w04a to more easily switch back.
Can still not reproduce.
Chickens were about 1 hour bathing.
-> No avail, chickens still trying to fly.
I trust you're trying this in 13w04a?
Even after hours the very same chickens are still flapping their wings
I think the lag spikes i was having may have caused the game to skip over those chickens from flapping :\
