MC-85354Shulker fires while closed
I was fighting some Shulkers that spawned with the End City. One of them teleported while open, and was closed when it appeared. It kept firing at me even though it was closed. In the screenshots you can see that they had just fired. Just a note, this does not always work, but will happen sometimes.

What is the seed of the world?
This should not matter, the first time it happened it was just the Shulkers at the very beginning of the End City. The second time, I was trying to replicate it, so I spawned them in. They just teleported to where they are. They have to teleport to cause the glitch.
Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft Snapshot 15w44b or later? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
