MC-907Crash in 1.4

Every time that I update to get ANY UPDATE AFTER 1.4, it just reads:
"Failed to launch:
Fatal exception occurred (4); null"
So I officially am the ONE PERSON IN THE WORLD THAT CAN'T GET THE UPDATE.
NOT SOLVED. THIS IS NOT SOLVED. WHY DOES IT SAY IT'S SOLVED, IT'S NOT!!!!!

RESOLVED - Delete the entire .minecraft folder to fix!

Have you tried a complete clean and re-install?
Likely an issue with your version file, try deleting your .minecraft folder and forcefully updating.
^ Don't forget to back up your saves folder if you want to keep your worlds
This is not solved! It's still in effect!
can you update to 1.4.4?
DELETE ALL MINECRAFT FILES AND RE-DOWNLOAD LAUNCHER - THIS SEEMS LIKE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR COMPUTER (sorry about caps)
Have you deleted your .minecraft folder if you have deleted it - delete the folder again and re-install the launcher(your launcher may be broken) - are you using the launcher provided bu Mojang?
