/kill command can destroy a world

If you use /kill @e in a repeating command block will destroy the world. This can easily be done by accident, and ruins worlds without 3rd party editors.
Some means of disabling command blocks needs to be added that you can access in the "Load World" screen.

you can use some third-party editors and remove all the tile ticks from the NBT data in the chunks
This is intended, you link it to a clock/make it repeat before testing the command

You can remove the command block in mcedit or oder editors alike
