MCD-2362"Privilege Error - Cannot play due to age restrictions" - PS4
Hi,
I've already created an issue for this but it got marked as resolved and I wasn't sure if my replying again to that ticket would show up.
If I log in to my PS4 under my 9 y/o son's profile he is unable to join or create an online game on Minecraft Dungeons and gets the following error message: "Privilege Error - Cannot play due to age restrictions"
If I use my parent profile it works fine but I have even tried removing all age restrictions on the console as well as changing his gaming restrictions and still nothing is working. (usually if it is a problem with the age restrictions on the console the game is blocked at dashboard level rather than in-game)
The reply I got to my last ticket suggested going into his Xbox account settings - firstly his account was already enabled both for online and creating and joining clubs and secondly this is a problem with online on the PS4 and not Windows/Xbox and there is nothing within the game options that even suggests it is linked to his Xbox account (which he does use to play online in the regular Minecraft game)

This is still seemingly happening. I installed the game today and after ensuring the most lax rating and online features settings in parental controls for PS4, my child still cannot play. The same message as seen in the already attached picture shows.
Hi, has there been any update on this issue yet??
I bought this game over 2 weeks ago and am still unable to play online on the PS4 despite there being no restrictions in place.
My nephew is having this issue also - coincidentally he is also 9. We can play Rocket League and other games fine, but Minecraft Dungeons won't let us play together - same error message. We (his Mum and I) have tried changing the Age Restrictions on the Family Management PS4 side of things, but to no avail.
Any further update on this issue?
I'm getting nowhere with both Mojang or Playstation support!

We are also having the same issue on the Playstation 4 (PS4).
Parent account -> Working fine. No issue. I can play online.
Child 1 (11 years old) ->Working fine. No issue. He can play online.
Child 2 (8 years old) -> Not working. "Privilege Error - Cannot play due to age restrictions"
Both Microsoft and Playstation accounts for both children have the same settings.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to PS4 with Child 2 account
2. Launch Minecraft Dungeons
3. Click "x" to "Play Online"
Observed Results:
Options to play online should appear and show a list of online and offline friends
Expected Results:
"Privilege Error - Cannot play due to age restrictions" is displayed.
Is this still an issue in the latest version?
