This is the second time I lose a save when launching the game. I just try to open the game, it launches the application twice , and then it shows me the first animation and I can't find the save I played on. This is beginning to bother me as I have lost my progress two times in two weeks and I don't know if , or how I can retrieve my progress...

You can't, game saves are local and once they're over-written, nless you back them up, they're gone. Game needs server-side saves.
