I hope theirs a fix for this soon id really like to get back to playing the game, its also preventing me from getting the new dlc's!
Try the following
🦑 *Squid/Camp Load crash*
Open the game to the Main Menu > *Disable Wi-Fi* > Start an offline game > Make progress (Finish Creeper woods) When at camp: Pause > return to Main Menu > *Enable Wi-Fi*
You should be able to play the game normally from now on in both Online and Offline sessions.
If the issue persists but only for online games:
Open the game to the Main Menu > *Disable Wi-Fi* > Start an offline game > Make progress (Finish Creeper woods).
When at camp: *Enable WI-FI* > Make progress (again)
Thank you that worked like a charm. It looked like it was how my character connected to the server, and it was saying something about a dns error, in the logs.
