MCD-4022Unable to install and/or update minecraft dungeons in Windows Store
I tried to update MC dungeons a day after the release of the jungle DLC
During the update an error prompted saying something along the line of "an error ocurred during the update. Need to reinstall the app". After clicking ok, the update button became a reinstall button. When click nothing happened and after clicking again the reinstall button became an install button.
Restarting PC, reseting windows store, even reinstalling windows store. I was still unable to install minecraft dungeons

I have the same issue. I've tried everything mentioned above, including the PowerShell and resetting the store cache and I still can't re-install the game after trying to update it meant it uninstalled itself

Same issue here. Nothing I've done or tried has worked either. I attached a screenshot of what happens when i try to install Dungeons though the Microsoft store.
Try the following:
Open the Microsoft store > Profile Image > Account name > Sign out > Reboot device > Sign in
THEN
Open the start menu > type “Apps” > Press Enter > search for “store” > Click Microsoft store > Advanced options > Terminate > Reset
THEN
WIN(⊞)-R > type wsreset.exe > Press Enter
If that doesn't change anything try:
Open the start menu > Type CMD > Command Prompt > Run as an administrator > type sfc /scannow > Press enter > wait for it to finish > Reboot the computer if any files were repaired
I've tried what you've suggested and unfortunately it hasn't worked/changed anything for me. Might work for others though.
I've tried the suggested solution, but unfortunately nothing has changed for me. Still unable to install the app/game.
Is Dungeons still installed?
No dungeons is not installed.
Hey, so I've continued to play around and try and get dungeons to work after it didn't download. I found a website regarding the Microsoft store scanning for already installed games and some ways to try and make it recognize them. Long story short, i did all of the suggestions as laid out and it seems to be installing properly currently. If the install doesn't work ill let you know.

Here are the steps -
2. Reset Windows Store through Command Prompt
Type cmd in Windows Search box > Right click on Command Prompt > Run As Administrator > Type WSreset.exe and click Enter > Reboot your computer
3. Re-register All Store apps (You will get many Reds, ignore them. This will reinstall all default Store apps, hence if you have uninstalled any default Store app, that will get reinstalled)
Windows Key+X > Windows Powershell (Admin) > Copy the following from below and right click in Powershell to paste > Enter > Restart your computer
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Give it a go.
I had previously tried all of the steps above at different times, however I've just done them again in the order above and I've got the game back.
I too have tried these steps before involving the WSreset.exe and the powershell. I didn't work for me
But now doing it again for some reason it worked this time. I am able to download MC dungeons again, its currently in progress. Will update after its done
