When I bought a new computer and logged in to Minecraft Dungeons for the first time, the character I had been using had disappeared.
Is this correct behavior, what is called a specification?
If it's a bug, please repair the character I was using.

Not a Bug
All save files are LOCAL and not connected to an account. You need to manually transfer the files.
📦 Transfer Save data between Computers
On the source computer (where your character and progress is currently stored):
WIN(⊞)-R> Copy and paste the path below to the Run Box:
_1.2.0.0 and above_
%HOMEPATH%\Saved Games\Mojang Studios\Dungeons
Copy the numerical folder and paste it to a USB or Cloud storage.
Connect the USB or Cloud storage to the destination computer (ensure it has launched dungeons at least once) > use WIN(⊞)-R again to open the path
Copy the contents of the source numerical folder into the destination numerical folder and replace any existing files
