When using a controller, MenuSelectAlt1 appears as the button hint for X on all villager interfaces.
Either the button hint is not meant to appear OR the function connected to button X is improperly displayed. Pressing X seemingly does nothing so perhaps the former.

Found by entering an online game, X is the button to Reserve Items. The button hint should not be displayed in an Offline game
