FPS drops down to 8fps when opening the inventory.
The average FPS I get when playing Minecraft Dungeons is about 30-40FPS, which is a very decent frame rate for a casual. But everytime I open my inventory, open the main menu, open the merchants, or open the ancient hunts menu, my FPS drops down to 8. Which makes no sense. Why would the inventory lag more than the gameplay itself?
I tried lowering down my resolution and lowering my settings but nothing was working. I had the thought that maybe because there are too many items in my inventory that it's taking the engine more time to render, but then again, when I started playing the game and had barely any items, the FPS was still in 8FPS.
The only thing that I think makes sense to me right now is probably that the assets used for the inventory are too high-quality that it's making the machine struggle. Of course, I don't know what the reason is, but I really wish you guys fix this annoying little bug.

Thank you for your report!
However, this issue has been temporarily closed as Awaiting Response.
Does your PC meet the minimum technical requirements for the game? If yes, then can you please provide the technical specifications of your PC (CPU, Graphics Card, RAM, free space on the drive, version of Windows OS)?
This ticket will automatically reopen when you reply.
I have an Intel Core i5, with an AMD Radeon HD 8570, 8GB of RAM, 300GB of total free space from 3 drives, and using build 20H2 of Windows 10 64-bit.
Is this still an issue in the latest version, and are the framedrops still as severe as 8FPS?
If yes, do you experience this kind of framedrops in any other games?

Sorry for the late reply but yes, this is still happening in the latest version.
However, when opening the Storage Chests, it seems to be in around 15 which is better but yeah, opening anything else still gives me 8fps.
Also, whenever I open my inventory, or open any of the merchants, their backgrounds are pitch black or have no lighting. Don't know if that's relevant.
I think the best way to fix this is to make lower-resolution assets because I feel like the inventory assets are incredibly high-res. Maybe add an option for it.
Does the issue still occur if you do the following?
1. Go to: C:\Users(USERNAME)\AppData\Local\Dungeons\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
2. Open GameUserSettings.txt and apply the following settings in the "[ScalabilityGroups]" section:
sg.ResolutionQuality=50.000000
sg.ViewDistanceQuality=0
sg.AntiAliasingQuality=0
sg.ShadowQuality=0
sg.PostProcessQuality=0
sg.TextureQuality=0
sg.EffectsQuality=0
sg.FoliageQuality=0
