MCD-5949Character not showing up after I made a back up save.
I wanted to play the new dlc that came out yesterday and my character was gone. I was fine with it as I already knew had a backup but of course it doesn't show up when I put it in the folder for characters. I have lost my characters more than once and more than twice and when I'm ready for something like this to happen again it doesn't even work. I don't know why this is even a thing and why it is happening I saved it and that is all it should work right after. is it because my character was from a pervious version? if so how do I update please don't tell me I have to restart for this dumb reason I am desperate to get my character back as I have items thats were limited time only. I play on pc and I bought it from the Microsoft store for windows 10. And I know I put it in the right folder, I cant enjoy the game like this anymore. Please help me.

We're tracking this issue in
MCD-1142, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate. If you would like to add a vote and any extra information to the main ticket, it would be appreciated.Unfortunately, outside of what you submitted to the newly added Cloud Saves feature, we do not have the tools necessary to restore lost progress and/or corrupted/unreadable characters at this time.
