Gone Fishin' achievement cannot be obtained
Hello, I am writing to you for a problem related to the Gone Fishin 'objective, me and 2 of my friends are trying to do this objective but it is stuck at 83%, looking at different online guides they indicate the drowned necromancer as a mob to be taken, the problem that we have been trying to catch it with a fishing rod for hours, but nothing happens. therefore we do not know how to achieve this goal. thank you

Gone Fishin' achievements bug

Also having the same issue, been trying to fish the necromancer for like an hour in total.
When I try to catch a drowned necromancer, the fishing rod does not hit at all. It is written that this problem has been solved, but I am still facing this problem.
Do we have any more information about this? I was going for fastest 100% trophy completion on Playstation and am about a week faster than the current holder. This is the last trophy I need..
Unfortunately a fix for this issue is not going to be available within that timeframe.

Hey this is still an issue, I've tried everything in game to get this to work and it won't. It's been unobtainable since the new dlc has come out according to psprofiles.. is there any news regarding when this will be fixed?
Same issue for me. fishing rod just ignores the drowned necromancer
This has been reported over month and a half ago and (IF Drowned Necromancer is the underwater mob to hook like people say then..) this achievement is still broken. As of a ~week ago this is the last achievement that I'm missing.
Still unobtainable... waiting for an update from the devs so I can FINALLY 100% the game
Is there an update on the status of this bug? Has it been scheduled to be fixed or is it still sat on the backlog?
This achievement is not bugged. The Drowned Necromancer is not part of it. (Just did the achievement today). There is a video on google search showing what mobs you need to hook.

Did you bother to read the description of that video? The Drowned Necromancer IS a part of it. Why has Mojang confirmed this as a bug if it's not bugged? You probably got the achievement because you managed to hook a Necromancer before the last patch and then only had to hook a non bugged mob.
Rozsa Daniel So according to hundreds of people who do not know then the fishing rod, we have all tried several times to hit anything, multiple times, so I kindly ask you not to answer with useless things below thanks.
To everyone not able to obtain this trophy, after the patch today the trophy is now obtainable without having to hook the necromancer. Download the patch go into any of the underwater missions and hook any enemy and your trophy will pop. Thanks for fixing this issue!
Fixed in version 1.11.1.0. Closing.
