I've unlocked apocalypse mode and i can't play the tower on apocalypse or even adventure idk if i missing something or cause i can't find a fix so could i have some help?

However, this issue has been temporarily closed as Awaiting Response.
What difficulty is displayed in the top left corner when on the "Start Tower Run" screen? Does it show Apocalypse, yet the level starts in the Default difficulty? Does changing the difficulty through the menu in the bottom right corner change anything?

I've set it to apocalypse or adventure even before i press "Start Tower Run" it set the either of the modes but once it starts it always on default.
Version 1.17.0.0 was released today (it can be checked in the pause menu and settings). Is this still an issue in the latest version?
